FAQ: RPG Classic Monsters: Owlbear and Kobold Drink Coasters

What size are these drink coasters?

They are printed on 60 pt. coaster board, in full color on one side. Coaster board is wood pulp, NOT paper.

Please remember that these drink coasters are meant to absorb water, not resist it. Many backers have mentioned clever ways to give them added protection and prolong their use. Some backers just like to collect them and put them in albums or in a frame (after they have a few design), on the wall, or even under glass on a table top.

I haven’t tried any of these things yet, but when I do, I’ll post photos on my FB page and in Updates here on KS.

How are these drink coasters being shipped?

The drink coasters are being shipped by the USPS (United States Postal Service) both for domestic and world-wide rewards. They are being sent in #10 size security-tinted business envelopes. Each envelope can hold up to four (4) coasters.
For US backers, I also offer the option to have your reward of 12, 16, 20, 24 or 32 coasters sent in a box so you get them all at once.

For example:
A pledge for a set of 4 coasters or less would be packed into one envelope.
A pledge for 8 coasters will be packed into two separate envelopes: (four coasters in each of 2 envelopes).
A pledge for 12 coasters will be packed into three separate envelopes: (four coasters in each of 3 envelopes).

The coasters will be fitted securely into a very simple holder designed out of paper and will slide into the envelope, fitting from edge-to-edge. This should keep the coasters from slipping around inside the envelope.

I’ve already shipped thousands of coasters world-wide in size No,10 security printed interior, business envelopes.

What if some of my coasters arrived damaged or never delivered at all?

If your coasters are damaged in the mail or never arrive, no problem, please just contact me through Kickstarter Message system, as I may not see it in the comments section.

Also, please check to see if someone in your household has already taken in your mail, and forgotten to tell you. This has happened often enough that I’m noting it here. Backers have found their envelope(s) or box in a drawer or cabinet, etc.

As far as your coasters not being delivered in a timely manner, I just ask that international backers please be patient, as it may sometimes take 2 to 8 weeks (or more to Asia, Russia and Australia), to get your envelopes. I will be asking you to please give it that much time, as almost all the coasters get there very single time. * Please double check the address you give when you answer your survey after the Kickstarter is over. I have noticed backers forget to put in a mailbox number when they are in an apartment or condo, but the mailbox is curbside. The Post Office will send it back to me as Undeliverable.*

Is there anything printed on the back of these coasters?

At this time, there isn’t anything on the back of these coasters. The company that prints them doesn’t offer 2-sided printing and stickers are too costly.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
